Yuka Takamizawa is the Lead Pastry Chef at Moignet Café, where she brings an elegant balance of precision, creativity, and craftsmanship to every pastry the café serves. Born and raised in Japan, Yuka’s cultural and culinary roots are evident in her meticulous attention to detail and her deep appreciation for refined, thoughtful presentation. Her Japanese training and disciplined approach shine through in each dessert, where precision and artistry meet.
Yuka honed her skills over nearly a decade at the acclaimed Sweets Raku, where she advanced from server to restaurant manager and eventually to pastry chef. Her experience managing high-volume, guest-focused environments has shaped her unique leadership style—one that fosters collaboration, continuous learning, and creative freedom.
At Moignet Café, Yuka has full creative control over the pastry program, curating a menu that blends tradition and innovation. From signature items like the world’s first mochi beignet to seasonally inspired cakes and pastries, her creations consistently elevate the guest experience. Her ability to seamlessly merge her Japanese heritage with French pastry influences has become a defining hallmark of the café.
